The drive from Heathrow to Central London usually takes between 45 minutes and just over an hour, covering roughly 15 to 20 miles depending on your exact destination. Outside peak periods, a journey into areas like Mayfair or Kensington can be closer to 45 minutes.   • Exact destination – The City and East London generally take a little longer than West London addresses like Chiswick, Hammersmith or Kensington.
  • Roadworks and events – Central London closures, marathons and major events can add time on the day, which your driver will route around where possible.

Terminal 4 works a little differently since June 2026. Heathrow closed the old multi-storey car park at Terminal 4 permanently for a redevelopment project, so kerbside pickup right outside the terminal is no longer available. Passengers collected from Terminal 4 now meet their driver at the Park & Ride Zone A, reached by a free shuttle bus from the terminal. If you’re flying into T4, we’ll confirm this pickup point when you book so there’s no confusion on the day.
