Manchester Airport now operates two active passenger terminals. Terminal 1 closed in November 2025 as part of the airport’s £1.3 billion transformation — all airlines previously based there have moved to the expanded Terminal 2. If your old booking references Terminal 1, your airline is now at Terminal 2. Always check with your airline before travelling.

Terminal 3
Your chauffeur waits inside the Terminal 3 arrivals area with a name board near the exit — you will also receive their direct contact details before you land. The pickup zone is in the P14 multi-storey car park. On approach, follow the signs for Terminal 3, pass the Hilton Hotel on your left, and take the signed exits to P14. Domestic and short-haul arrivals include 45 minutes of free waiting time as standard.
Terminal 1 is permanently closed. The former T1 entrance has been rebranded as part of Terminal 3 from 5 March 2026. Ryanair passengers should follow signs for Terminal 3 Departures. All other airlines operate from Terminal 2.
